Workers Unite

Hey gang. We're at the FAB working away getting ready. Several are here helping out. After a good morning's work we took a break to go to CICi's for lunch, then a quick trip to Best Buy and the obigatory Starbuck's run!!! It's good to be in band. Tracie, Christy, AJ, Pat and Emmy are here - props to them. Y'all come. We can use all the help we can get.

BAND STARTS AUGUST 7TH AT 8:00 A.M.

It will be a blast. Bring water, wear sunglasses, cool and loose clothing, good tennis shoes - NO SANDALS, flip flops or thongs (the foot kind!! ha) . Be prepared to sweat. Remember wear purple and blue stuff on the first day. Bring a lyre and a flip and your instrument.

Great response so far. Let me hear from you.

Hey gang. I've had lots of calls and one comment to the blog today. Let me hear from you. I still need help for the first of the week, and I'd love to know if this thing is going to be a good way to communicate. If you're looking at it, post a comment. It'll come to my email, then I'll throw it up there for all to read! Peace! c

Update

Good morning. I'm guessing if you're seeing this that you got your letter. As you can see the tunes aren't up here yet. That's b/c I have hit a snag in posting them. Hopefully I'll get over that this weekend. I may end up posting them elsewhere and linking to them. I'll let you know ASAP. I'll be at the band room working Monday and Tuesday all day to get ready. Lots to do - uniforms, equipment, set up, etc. If you can help any, all or sometime, send me a message or call my cell and let me know.

Hey Gang!!

Welcome to the Golden Arrow Band Blog! This is a place where we can communicate, visitate, prognosticate and otherwise express our interests in our band community. It is a moderated forum. That means I have to read and approve what you post before it shows up on the site. So, be nice. Be polite. Be courteous. Have fun. I'll be posting announcements, schedules, music etc. here for you.
