Modification to the Fitness Program

In an effort to continue to assist in building the overall health of the band and increase rehearsal productivity, the following modification will be made to the Clockwatchers Fitness Program.

Effective immediately: Any bandmember who is habitually tardy, meaning a bandmember who accumulates more than 3 tardies, the incentive for timeliness will begin doubling. This means upon the fourth tardy, the band member has earned 6 laps. On the fifth - twelve, etc.

There has been marked improvement in the timeliness of the band in the past week, but there are still a few individuals who are lagging behind in their progress. We hope this will encourage them to make more progress in becoming the healthiest band members possible, thereby gaining the ability to wake up earlier and arrive on time for band.

Have an awesome day!!!

We will go eat and report to Mayo-Thompson Stadium at Northside for the first band of the day. We will perform around 4:15. You will be watching bands all day and all evening. You may NOT check out early. All band members will stay for the entire evening including the guest performance by the 325 member Razorback Band. We will return home around 10:00 that night.

Some Things To Be Aware Of

Hey gang. Great work this week. I'm proud of you!!!

We're going to do something a little differently beginning on Monday. If you are late to sectionals, rehearsals etc. you will get to run a lap. The second time - two laps, and so on. Let's work hard to keep things in order and be on time so we can get the most out of our rehearsals. Also, don't forget to call me and let me know if you're going to be out of rehearsal. I need to be able to plan ahead.

Oct. 9-13 will be a regular week. We'll be at Pottsville Friday night. It will be a VERY EARLY call and a VERY LATE return home. I'll let you know as soon as I finalize the itinerary.

Keep up the good work!! It's just a couple of weeks until contest. Start inviting your parents, family and friends to come to our performance. We will march a little after 4:00 that day. I would love to have the stands filled with rabid LHS Band fans for our show. Tell everybody to come and wear purple and blue to cheer us on!!!

C ya later.
